A malfunctioning ride at Six Flags over Texas led to minor injuries for seven parkgoers on Sunday. The ride, a circular swing ride named the Texas Tornado, which experienced an "unexpected interruption" of its ride cycle, caused several of the swinging chairs to bump together

as the ride slowed and descended. Six of the seven passengers were treated on-site at the park's first-aid station, the seventh, a woman complaining of back pain, was taken to a nearby hospital. The ride has been closed until further notice for evaluation.
