Steelers Super Bowl MVP goes to Disney World

Sunday night saw the historic victory of the Pittsburgh Steelers against the Arizona Cardinals, netting the Steelers franchise its sixth Super Bowl win; more than any other franchise in Super Bowl history.
Following the big win, the Super Bowl MVP and Steelers wide receiver Santonio Holmes was asked in the grand Super Bowl tradition: What are you going to do next? To which he and Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger replied in unison, "We're going to Disney World!"

Monday morning, Holmes did exactly that. Riding in a blue convertible with Mickey dressed in football jersey and helmet, Santonio Holmes led a parade of Disney characters, police escorts and NFL Youth Football players holding bouquets of Mickey Mouse- and football-shaped balloons in the Super Bowl XLIII Victory Parade.

Continuing a Disney tradition that dates back to 1987, Disney filmed, edited, and - only hours after production - aired its 40th "I'm going to Disney World" commercial. The original commercial was filmed following the New York Giants victory in Super Bowl XXI and was regarded an unprecedented accomplishment as no other commercial highlighting a current event had been aired on major networks so soon after after production.
