The newest roller coaster of Busch Gardens Tampa Bay has begun testing. Starting by pulling a couple cars at a time around the track, the engineers are testing everything to make sure the ride will go as smooth as possible upon opening.

Slated to open on May 27 before Memorial Day weekend, the Cheetah Hunt will have five trains, each of which consist of four cars. Each of these cars will seat four people and the cars themselves are designed to look like a cheetah when grouped to make the train. The atmosphere of the ride is indicative of it's location, around Egypt, Morocco and Edge of Africa sections. Desert canyons, an African village, deep trenches, and grassy plains are parts of the scenery that you will enjoy while riding.
