Thomas Town coming to Magic Mountain

Six Flags Magic Mountain has revealed the site plans for its upcoming Thomas Town kiddie land, which is scheduled to open this summer. The plans include a corkscrew-path train track for the Thomas the Tank Engine ride, as well as a re-theming of the park's Goliath Jr. coaster as Percy the Small Engine to better fit in with the theme. A Cranky the Crane water play area will also be added, which will feature a pop-jet fountain and an overhead sprinkler. The park has put previously announced plans for Harold the Helicopter and Bertie the Bus rides on hold, in part to avoid overlapping with the Yosemite Sam’s Flight School plane ride and a Daffy’s Adventure Tours bus ride in the park's Bugs Bunny World children's area.
