Tokyo Disney Resort resumed full operations today. This marks the first day since March 11, when the major earthquake shook Japan, that all theme parks were back at full operation.

At Tokyo DisneySea, the Fantasmic night show and a character meet and greet made their debut, while the new Easter Wonderland parade was to be seen at Tokyo Disneyland. Still, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad was down and undergoing repairs due to damage from the quake.

Both the parks and nearby hotels are reducing electricty consumption with reduced lighting and air conditioning, along with restricting certain escalators. In addition, Tokyo Disneyland will be as of today extending its operating hours, which had been shortened due to rolling blackouts.
