Transformers dark ride in the works?

According to a new report from IESB, a ride based on last summer's popular Transformers film may be headed to a yet-to-be named amusement park sometime in the next 2-3 years. Citing confirmation from a studio source, the report claims that Paramount Studios and Hasbro are in talks to make the ride a reality, and that early concepts call for a dark ride, possibly in the style of Disneyland's Indiana Jones Adventure ride. The report does not offer any suggestions as to which park might land the likely-popular ride, although it is worthwhile to note that Paramount is no longer affiliated with Kings Island, Kings Dominion, or any other of the formerly Paramount-branded parks. In addition, although this deal is actually an agreement between George Lucas and Disney, rides based on Paramount's Indiana Jones franchise appear at several Disney Parks worldwide.
