Today marks the opening of T-REX, the newest restaurant to come to Downtown Disney found in Orlando, FL. Continuing Disney's trend of providing an entertaining dining experience, T-REX will feature a lush prehistoric themed environment with animatronic dinosaurs greeting visitors at every turn.

In addition to the requisite group hosting services offered, the restaurant will also feature a full shop for purchasing Disney and T-REX apparel, accessories and toys. Disney has also partnered with Build-A-Bear Workshop to present Build-A-Dino. This area of the the restaurant will provide the soft dinosaur form, stuffing and accessories where visitors can create their own take-home dinosaur.

T-REX will also have a separate area where visitors can dig for prehistoric items in Discovery Dig, sift for gems, stones and fossils in Discovery Creek, search for hidden treasure in the mine and learn more about the prehistoric period on the interactive Paleo Screens.
