Universal Orlando opens Simpsons Ride

Universal Studios in Orlando, FL has opened the Simpsons Ride, a new motion-simulator attraction based on the popular Fox animated series. The Simpsons Ride replaces Back to the Future: The Ride, and takes guests on a tour of the fictional Krustyland theme park. Voices and characters from the television series appear in the ride's film as the Simpson family encounters long waits, rides gone amok, perilous snacks and an escaped con. The ride is also replacing Back to the Future: The Ride in Universal Studios Hollywood; an official grand opening is set for May.
