Universal updates Halloween Horror Nights site

Universal Orlando has updated its website for the 2009 version of its Halloween Horror Nights event. The updated site features a section on the "Universal Palace Theater," complete with a long audio intro filled with odd narration — which continually fades in and out — concerning the strange events that were reported at the theater, culminating in a "bizarre accident" that led to the theater's closing. Users are then presented with a black, wire-frame like view of the lobby, with roll-over sections that show a more detailed look.

Halloween Horror Nights is scheduled for Sept. 25 through Oct. 31 on the following dates:

• Oct. 1-4
• Oct. 8-11
• Oct. 21-25
• Oct. 28-31
