Video: SeaWorld's Manta test run

SeaWorld's upcoming roller coaster, Manta, was tested this week at SeaWorld outside of Orlando, Florida. SeaWorld expects to have the roller coaster open by May 22 of this year.

Brian Morrow, director of design and engineering at SeaWorld, tells Orlando Sentinel, "It's like the homestretch for us; we're about 2½ months away from wrapping [construction of the coaster] up."

Morrow told Orlando Sentinel that the sea life planned for the attraction - about 3,000 animals - will be moved to the aquarium built specifically for the roller coaster by the end of March. "We just keep trucking ahead because we're really looking for this ride to be an important asset to SeaWorld Orlando," Morrow said."
