Walt Disney World generates $18 billion a year

A new report shows that Walt Disney World and its different businesses generate an estimated $18.2 billion a year. Disney World, Disney Cruise and the time-share business Disney Vacation Club account for 2.5% of Florida's cumulative gross domestic product. Of this vast sum Disney paid out around $1.8 billion to it's more than 59,000 workers. According to this study Disney is responsible for over one out of every fifty jobs in the state of Florida.
