Walt Disney Studios Park has posted a permit to cut almost 10 acres of forest from within park borders. WDS Fans has been following the development as originally found in the permit documents. It seems the area will be used to re-route the Studio Tram Tour between the Station and Dinotopia set. The extra space will also be used to make room for Toy Story Land and the Ratatouille ride expansion.

WDS is the only Walt Disney theme park in the world to house a forest within the borders of the park. While a relatively small portion of the forest will be cleared for expansion, the majority will be preserved and may even eventually be integrated with Toy Story Land.
