Whopper Bar, others open at CityWalk

Today marked the opening of three new food venues at Universal CityWalk in Orlando, Florida. The three eateries are Burger King's experimental BK Whopper Bar, Panda Express, and Moe's Southwest Grill.
The three new venues should offer something previously lacking from the CityWalk experience: fast, convenient dining.

Anyone familiar with Moe's Southwestern Grill will know it's a step up from run-of-the-mill Taco Bell and, as the name implies, offers Southwestern-style Mexican food at a relatively cheap price. Each item on the menu, such as the Joe Coctostan and Close Talker, invoke a certain attitude that has made Moe's so popular.
Panda Express can best be summed up as "fast-Chinese-food." The restaurant, family-owned for more than 25 years, has struck a fine balance between convenience and flavor. The first restaurant was opened in Pasadena, California in 1973 and quickly spread its establishments across the U.S.
Though the most stand-out of the bunch may very well be Burger King's new, experimental BK Whopper Bar. The Whopper Bar will offer guests the chance to mix and match their own Whopper combinations to create a personalize Whopper from a variety of toppings and condiment options. The restaurant will also offer "premium" Whoppers not available in the standard fast food chain establishments.
“We saw a desire for quick, casual meals among our guests, and we feel that Burger King Whopper Bar, Panda Express and Moe’s Southwest Grill are perfect fits for our resort and our brand,” Ric Florell, senior vice president and general manager of resort revenue operations, told Orlando Attractions Magazine.
All three restaurants are located adjacent to one-another on the upper level of CityWalk and just to left from the escalator's exit. The restaurants will be open for lunch and dinner, though may extend their hours if demand calls for it.
The BK Whopper Bar held its grand opening today, Moe's will open on Thursday of this week, with Panda Express following on Friday.
