Wooden Warrior at Quassy Amusement Park bringing in the visitors

The ride opened April 23 and has been bringing in riders as far away as Great Britain, according to Ron Gustafson, Quassy's director of marketing and public relations. The coaster is 1,250 feet long and is found in a corner of the 103-year-old amusement park. It only takes 57 seconds for passengers to traverse the coaster from start to finish.
The ride was described as a "pint-sized major league thrill machine" by Park World magazine and as Gustafson says, "It pack a real wallop for its size." The ride also apparently "eats" cellphones, Gustafson says, as he points to a big sign warning riders to secure their cellphones while riding.
Quassy Amusement Park is located in Middlebury, Connecticut and has free admission, though there are charges for rides, beach and water park access, along with food and games.
