California Screamin’

California Screamin' is a launched coaster found in the Paradise Pier section of Disney's California Adventure theme park. It opened with the park in 2001, and although it is themed as a wooden coaster, it is in fact steel. It also features an iconic "Mickey loop" inversion around the mid point of the ride. Currently, it is the fifth longest roller coaster in the world.

Lifthill comments: An absolute blast of a ride and a must-see for visitors to DCA. The launch by the water is quite exhilarating, as are the multiple pass-bys and close calls found along the coaster's track. The loop provides a break from the pure speed and air of the rest of the coaster. Truly, a world-class ride.
