The Fuji-Q Highland Amusement Park, located in Yamanash, is to unveil the record breaker on July 16th. The people at the Guiness Book of World Records have been called to ratify the 121 degree drop which would be the steepest in the world.

The Takabisha, meaning 'dominate' in English, hits speeds of 100kmph along its 1000 metres of track with seven major twists. You can see spectacular views of nearby Mount Fuji while on the ride but must do so in just 112 seconds which is all it takes for the full experience. Takabisha takes the 'ride with the steepest incline' title from Mumbo Jumbo located at Flamingoland in the UK.
