The Beastie
Filed under Roller Coasters on Feb 23, 2006

The Beastie is a kiddie wooden roller coaster. The ride opened with King's Island in 1972, and was originally called the Scooby Doo. The name was later changed to the Beastie, and a tunnel and new Beast-matching paint scheme were added to make it more like its namesake.
Lifthill comments: Fun for younger children, the Beastie really isn't meant for adults, unless they are accompanying their child. In this case, the Beastie is a lot more enjoyable for parents than a lot of other children's rides.
