Kings Island's newest ride, The Italian Job: Stunt Track, is based on the closing scenes from the 2003 film "The Italian Job," taking riders on a high-speed car chase sequence. The cars, designed to look like the souped-up MINI Cooper automobiles featured in the film, are powered by 3 different sets of Linear Induction Motors scattered throughout the ride, and feature surround-sound speakers that are used to create sound-effects for the different scenes represented on the ride.
