Splash Mountain - WDW

Based on animated sequences from Disney's 1946 film "Song of the South," Splash Mountain follows Brer Rabbit and friends on an aquatic adventure that climaxes with a splashdown on what was once the world's tallest flume ride drop. Filled with "teaser" drops, animatronic animals, and found in the park's Adventureland area.

Lifthill comments: Simply put, the best flume ride ever made. Although the Florida version followed the original in California's Disneyland, the side-by-side design of the Florida version makes the boats a little heavier and allows for better pacing of the show inside. Splash Mountain combines thrills with a top-notch Disney dark ride experience, and is one of the most enjoyable rides at the resort.
